Open-Plant complies to Industrial Cyber Security Standards
Open-Plant has been packed with all the goodies from the Cyber Security world with no extra costs. We're not sure why some products charge you extra for such a basic thing.
Data Encryption
SCADA and MES systems typically do not provide any data encrytion. Open-Plant however provides encrypted communication through SSL Secured Socket Layer. This is the defacto standard for confidential transfer of information used in banking and commerce.
2-Factor Authentication
Open-Plant Logins are equipped with two factor authentication. A user can be required to supply both a password and a 6 digit code obtained from their mobile phones before they can log into Open-Plant.
On-Premise Isolation
We understand that some plants are not comfortable storing data on the Cloud. Open-Plants primary choice of installation is On Premise, where the system is totally isolated from the outside world. This ensures maximum security.
